Elton John and David Furnish are celebrating the birth of their first child.
The singer's representative confirmed to People magazine that the couple's son, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, was born via surrogate on 25 December.
The baby weighed 7lbs, 15oz.
The couple, who exchanged vows in a civil ceremony in 2005, said: "We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment.
"Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents."
