The younger sister of departing 'EastEnders' star Lacey Turner is joining the BBC soap.

Warning: spoiler alert!

The Sun reports that nine-year-old Lily Harvey begins filming in January and will make her debut in the soap in March.

She will play Shenice, the "cheeky" daughter of Kat Moon's (Jessie Wallace) new friend Martine, who will be played by another new cast member, Tamara Wall.

A source told the paper: "She [Turner] loved growing up on set and is happy to still have links. She'll give Lily lots of advice and has made the older stars promise to look out for her. Lily takes after Lacey, she's a star in the making."
