Kerry Katona has revealed that she is thrilled to be paired with Dan Whiston for 'Dancing on Ice', who she says has "restored her faith in men".

In an interview with The Star, the 30-year-old mum of four spoke about the 'Dancing on Ice' reigning champion, whom she has been dancing with for three months.

She said that Whiston has not only saved her career but "restored her faith in men" and added that Dan has: "...within a few weeks has become such a good friend, and he is the best skating partner.

"I had the biggest grin on my face for days when I found out he was my skating partner - I'm so happy. Dan is the new and only man in my life...I haven't laughed this much in years."

However, Katona has reportedly been forced to rest after cracking two ribs during training: "My training is going really well, and I’m having so much fun. But it's very hard work!"

She confessed that the process had so far been "a million percent harder than I thought it would be" but added that it is "so enjoyable".

'Dancing on Ice' begins on 9 January and the public will pick the line-up from a list of the following 16 celebrities: Kerry Katona (30), actors Jennifer Metcalfe, Nadia Sawalha, Steven Arnold, Denise Welch, Sam Attwater and Craig McLachlan, TV presenters Angela Rippon, Jeff Brazier, Laura Hamilton and Chloe Madeley (Richard and Judy's daughter) and cricketer Dominic Cork, rapper Vanilla Ice, soldier Johnson Beharry, Radio DJ Dave Vitty and WAG Elen Rivas.
