The storyline that will see 'Coronation Street' regular Janice Battersby leaving the show has been revealed.

According to the News of the World, the character, played by Vicky Entwistle, will leave after becoming the victim of an attack.
It is believed that Janice will disturb a burglar at her home and get beaten up as a result.
The report suggested that Lloyd would later become the chief suspect in the case.
Janice later decides to move away from her home in Weatherfield because she is afraid living there on her own.
A source said: "At least Janice isn't being killed off. She's a popular character and a return is always on the cards."
