Fans of 'Coronation Street' have been told to expect more major shocks in the wake of last week's tram crash tragedy.

A production source at ITV told The Mirror: "Anyone expecting things to calm down is in for a shock.
"The coming weeks are set to be a roller coaster, climaxing in a huge drama on New Year's Eve when someone attempts to murder Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford).
"All the fingers are pointing at Becky McDonald (Katherine Kelly), but it's going to be incredible."
The paper says that 'Coronation Street' scriptwriter Damon Rochefort said there would also be many more heart-rending scenes in the coming weeks.
"The tram crash was not a stunt. It was more about driving a tram through the characters' lives," he said.
