The five leaders for the new series of Operation Transformation on RTÉ have been announced.
Rachel Walker from Tallaght, Co Dublin, Sinead Heffernan from Enfield, Co Meath, Jayne Glavin from Newbridge, Co Kildare, Emily Piggott from Killarney, Co Kerry and Ronan Scully from Knocknacarra, Co Galway will all be looking to change their eating and exercise habits.
Operation Transformation will return to our television screens on, Wednesday 5 January, for a fourth series on RTÉ One.
Karl Henry, fitness expert, Dr Eva Orsmond, Medical Doctor, Dr. Eddie Murphy, a Principal Clinical Pyschologist with the HSE, Kathryn Thomas and John Murray will help the leaders on their journey.
The five leaders were chosen from hundreds of applicants.
The final 23 applicants were invited to come to Santry Sportslink on 25 November to be put through their paces and were assessed on their physical and emotional suitability for the television series.
