Former 'X Factor' winner Joe McElderry has said that he is supporting Cher and Rebecca on the show this year.
Speaking to RTÉ TEN, the singer said: "I love Cher. Cher and Rebecca are my favourites at the minute. I'm hoping they'll be in the final."
Speaking about the diverse range of performers on this year's show, he said: "I think a bit of diversity is really good and I think this year there's very quirky singers and very different styles, different performance techniques and I think that's what the show is about. It's about developing an artist obviously into a recording artist."
