Eva Longoria has reportedly filed for divorce following reports that her husband Tony Parker has been having an affair with the wife of one of his basketball teammates.
According to People, the Desperate Housewives star told her friend, Extra correspondent Mario Lopez about the alleged relationship.
Lopez said: "She is devastated, she wants us all to know that. But she's strong."
The name of the woman and which San Antonio Spurs player she is married to have not been released.
Longoria, 35, and Parker, 28, have not commented on the reasons for their divorce, but posted identical Twitter messages expressing their sadness at the end of their three-year relationship.
The actress filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court just one day after her spokesman denied that Parker had filed his papers in a Texas court.
The divorce papers also showed that the couple had a prenuptial agreement.
Longoria cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, and requested that her name be restored to Eva Jacqueline Longoria, she had changed it to Eva Longoria Parker in 2007.
