There has been another shock elimination on the US version of 'Strictly Come Dancing', 'Dancing with the Stars'.

Warning: spoiler alert!

Entertainment Weekly reports that despite receiving 57 out of a possible 60 points from the judges, singer Brandy and professional dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy did not get enough votes from the public to stay in the competition.

Speaking to reporters afterwards, Brandy said: "I'm numb. It's going to hit me tomorrow. I gave it everything I have and I don't have any regrets. I'm so proud of me and I say that humbly. I'm very proud of Maks as well. He's been very calm tonight!

"I just wanted people to be inspired every time we danced. I know a lot of people tweet me and say things on Facebook and all the fans, they seem to be inspired and moved by what we did on the dance floor. That's the most important thing. I can walk away knowing that I gave this competition everything I had in me to give."

Three couples remain on the show: Jennifer Grey and her partner Derek Hough, Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer and Bristol Palin and her partner Mark Ballas.
