A limited first edition of a 'Harry Potter' book, worth almost €7,000, has been stolen from an art gallery.
According to the Press Association, the book was a limited first edition of 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' and was taken from a display box in the Creative Art Gallery in Woodstock, Oxfordshire in the UK.
Geoffrey Allen, of Witney police station, said: "I believe this was an opportunist crime and the offenders took advantage of the gallery assistant being occupied by a group of people."
Police released CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to in connection with the theft.
