Singer-songwriter Gerry Rafferty is seriously ill in hospital after collapsing at home five days ago.
The Sun reports that he was admitted to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital with suspected kidney failure.
A statement released by his family said: "He is comfortable and with close family."
Rafferty, best known for his solo hit 'Baker Street' and the song 'Stuck in the Middle with You' with his band Stealers Wheel, has received treatment for liver failure in the past.
His fiancée, Enzina Fuschini, told the paper: "Gerry is strong and I'm praying he pulls through."
