X Factor star Mary Byrne has revealed that she was too afraid to come home to Dublin yesterday so she had a duvet day instead.
According to The Star, her daughter Deborah, 23 said: "She only had one night and she really didn't know if she would be able to face going back again so quickly."
However the 23-year-old also said that she was going to brave her flying phobia to support her mum this weekend: "As long as my friends distract me, I'll probably get through it."
She added: "Matt Cardle is very nice to watch. I've never voted for him but he's definitely my second favourite."
At the weekend Mary admitted on the show that she misses her daughter and according to The Star she said that she feels very maternal towards all of the young contestants but especially Katie Waissel.
She said: "She's had bad times and I wouldn't like my daughter to have bad times like that.
