Singer Lily Allen has thanked people for their support following the announcement that she suffered a miscarriage last weekend.
The Press Association reports that the 25-year-old posted a message on Twitter today, saying: "Thank you for all your kind messages."
The star also suffered a miscarriage in 2008.
A spokesman for Allen has asked for privacy for her at such a "deeply distressing time".
