Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle has said that despite disappointing sales, she is very happy with the performance of her debut solo single 'Insatiable'.
The Press Association reports that roughly 8,700 copies of the single have been sold in the UK, leaving Coyle outside of the Top 20.
Launching her solo album in Ireland, Coyle said: "Singles aren't really making money anymore so it's kinda better to concentrate your efforts on being able to have a big show and get stuff together and spend things wisely and have things that can last and withstand and be around."
She continued: "The single was released on Monday in the UK, and it's good, really, really good. I'm so glad it's out there. It's been really embraced. I've been really happy with it."
Coyle is among Ryan Tubridy's guests on 'The Late Late Show' on RTÉ One on Friday night.
