X Factor producers have admitted that Cheryl Cole lip-synched almost her entire song, 'Promise This' on Sunday night's show.
According to the Daily Mail however the X Factor judge has ruled out the possibility of anyone finding fault by miming most of her X Factor performance, apart from singing a small amount live in the middle.
Cole said that she pre-recorded the song in front of the studio audience about an hour before the show went on air.
Given how ill the 27-year-old was a few months ago, her performance still represented an amazing comeback for the star.
She was given a rapturous applause from the studio audience and looked to be relieved to have completed her return when she finished the song.
