Katy Perry has reportedly announced that she is planning on taking a break from micro-blogging site Twitter.
Digital Spy reports the singer said that she would not be using the site for a while after receiving a number of messages about her upcoming wedding to fiancé Russell Brand, rumoured to be this weekend.
Perry tweeted: "I have something to say... TWIT BREAK: Greatest gift u can give us is respect & ? during this private X. No use wasting ur X w/ STOLEN or FALSE info. Thnku for this (sic)."
