'Coronation Street's Steven Arnold and Julia Haworth are reportedly signing up to compete in the new series of 'Dancing On Ice'.
According to The Daily star the two soap actors, who play husband and wife Ashley and Claire Peacock, are set to leave the Street at the end of the year.
Then the actors are set to get their skates on to be trained how to ice dance by Olympic champions Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean for the ITV talent show.
A source said: "They both want to hit the ground running once they finish 'Corrie'. 'Dancing On Ice' will be a great platform."
Other celebrities rumoured to be taking part in the sixth series of Dancing On Ice, which begins in January, include former Corrie star and Loose Women panellist Denise Welch, Steps singer Faye Tozer and Kerry Katona.
The Peacocks have been promised an "explosive" final storyline, and they will be leaving around the time of the dramatic tram crash which marks the soap's 50th anniversary.
