Four different endings have been filmed for Emmerdale’s current court room drama featuring the trial of the character Ryan Lamb.
Lamb is on trial for the murder of his father, Mark Wylde, with the storyline due to reach a conclusion next week.
The Press Association reports that two scenes will go online from Thursday showing Lamb (James Sutton) being found guilty and not guilty. Another scene sees Natasha Wylde played by Amanda Donohoe admitting to the murder of her husband in court while the fourth scene shows Ryan Lamb, his mother and half-sister celebrating outside the courthouse.
The series producer Gavin Blyth said "The alternative endings we filmed earlier this year for Mark Wylde's murder proved hugely popular and it seemed fitting to treat viewers."
Viewers will be able to see the verdict next Tuesday, October 26.
