Mel Gibson is set for a cameo role in 'The Hangover 2', according to one report.
The New York Post reports the actor is to appear as a tattoo artist in the Thailand-set sequel.
Gibson was recently dropped by his Hollywood agent following accusations of domestic abuse against his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva
"It's a done deal. Mel will make a cameo as a tattoo artist," a source said. "Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros lot, where a Bangkok set has been built, and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks. Then the production moves to Thailand at the end of October."
Original cast members Bradley Cooper, Zack Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha and Ken Jeong will return for the sequel. However, it is believed that Heather Graham's stripper character Jade will not be back for the follow-up.
Gibson's movie 'The Beaver', filmed before domestic abuse allegations surfaced, is still awaiting a cinema release.
