Louis Walsh has revealed that he had his hair dyed by Simon Cowell's stylist because he was so impressed by the job done on Cowell's coiffure.
The Sun reports Walsh sported his new darker hair colour for the first time on the weekend's live shows but was quick to tease Cowell about his newfound look.
"Yes, it's dyed - but it's still all my own hair," he said. "I got it done by Simon's stylist because I thought, well, if she can make him look good she can make anyone look good."
Walsh added that he was pleased with his new colour and revealed that he had received positive feedback from the public too.
"I really like it and people say I look younger," he said. "But don't worry, I'm not going for a Jedward quiff."
