'Coronation Street' newcomer Paula Lane has said that she is surprised that fans of the show have been comparing her character Kylie to the scheming Tracy Barlow.
Speaking to Inside Soap, the actress, who stars as Becky McDonald's half-sister, said: "People have been saying that Kylie is worse than Tracy, but I think that might be taking it a little too far at the moment - after all, Kylie hasn't killed anyone... yet!"
"My initial contract was until December and I've just been given another six months, so it'll be interesting to see how they are going to work it with Tracy being back.
"Two evil characters paralleling each other might be too much, though, so maybe they'll keep them apart."
"But I'm sure Kylie will be a thorn in Becky and Steve's sides for a long time to come."
