Nicolo Festa and boyband FYD have been eliminated from 'The X Factor', with Katie Waissel saved by the judges.
Festa was automatically eliminated after receiving the lowest amount of votes from the public, with Waissel and FYD placed in the sing-off after coming second and third last.
Judges Simon Cowell (FYD) and Cheryl Cole (Waissel) saved their own acts.
Dannii Minogue chose to save Waissel, saying she had performed better in the sing-off.
Louis Walsh then said he would keep Waissel on the show, despite believing she was "more style than substance".
Aiden Grimshaw, Matt Cardle and boy band One Direction are current joint favourites to win with bookie Paddy Power offering odds of 4/1.
The three Irish contestants - Mary Byrne, Niall Horan from 1 Direction and Rebecca Creighton from Belle Amie - are all through to the next live show.
