It seems as if 'Strictly Come Dancing' and 'The X Factor' are set to go head to head again, if only briefly next weekend.

Digital Spy reports that there will be a 15 minute overlap in the hugely popular TV shows on Saturday, October 16. 'Strictly Come Dancing' is set for a 6pm start on BBC One and runs until 7.45pm while 'The X Factor' stars over on ITV1 at 7.30pm and ends at 10pm.

The programmes have faced criticism in the past from fans who are eager to watch both shows. Last year 'The X Factor' generally started at 8pm but has been forced back to a 7.30pm start to make time for the extra acts who got through to the live shows after winning a wildcard place.

So far both shows have recorded strong ratings this year as they have avoided a clash.
