'Emmerdale' fans are set to find out more about Jackson Walsh's (Marc Silcock) past when his father comes to the village.

The Press Association reports that actor Michael J Jackson makes his debut on Friday as Jackson's father Jerry.
His estranged wife Hazel (Pauline Quirke) contacted him after Jackson was seriously injured in the accident.
Silcock told Digital Spy that Jackson has a strained relationship with his father and that viewers will find out more about him through the character.
"This [the relationship] is a big key to understanding why Jackson is like he is. Why he is so understanding of Aaron (Danny Miller) and why the relationship is as it is," said Silcock.
"We understand that a lot, seeing his father and seeing the interaction between Pauline Quirke and Michael. We will understand a lot of Jackson's background."
