The original cast of the film 'The Commitments' will reunite for a limited run of concerts around the country.
The concerts will take place next March, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film.
The band counts Andrew Strong, Glen Hansard and Bronagh Gallagher amoung its members.
Over 12 million people own a copy of the movie's soundtrack.
The band are hoping to raise up to €30,000 for the Irish Cancer Society.
Tickets for the tour are due to go on sale on 15 October.
