'Coronation Street' actor William Roache is to appear on 'Funny Times', the upcoming album by comedian Harry Hill.

STV reports that Roache, who plays Ken Barlow in the soap, will appear on 'Ken!', "a Spaghetti Western-inspired paean" to his character which reworks the soap's theme music in a mariachi style.

It is reported that the track features the lyric: "I was a librarian, I was a teacher, I was a trolley pusher, I was a taxi driver - now I am a free man."

The album, which also features a guest appearance by Bruce Forsyth, will be released in November.
