Comedian Peter Kay joined The Saw Doctors on stage at their Dublin gig this weekend to launch the group's new album.
The comedy star, who has previously spoken about being a fan of the group, surprised the audience at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on Saturday night when he came on stage to officially unveil 'The Further Adventures of The Saw Doctors' album.
Speaking about his guest-appearance at the show, Kay said: "What an absolute honour and a joy to be asked to launch the fantastic new album by The Saw Doctors. My family and I have been massive fans for years".
The Saw Doctors star Davy Carton said: "We were thrilled when Peter agreed to do this and went to so much trouble to get here. We equally love his work and in a way I think we share the same sort of humour".
Guitarist Leo Moran said: "We know Peter is very proud of his Irish roots and his Irish relatives, but for a major star to take time out and to speak so highly of our work is a huge compliment".
'The Further Adventures of The Saw Doctors' is released today, with 'Be Yourself', the first single from the album, due for release next month.
