'Desperate Housewives' star Teri Hatcher is to have a guest role in the new series of Superman drama 'Smallville'.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Hatcher will play Ella Lane, the mother of reporter Lois Lane (Erica Durance).
Hatcher played Lois Lane in the series 'Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman'.
She will appear in the eighth episode of the new series, entitled 'Abandoned'.
