RTÉ Television's new daytime shows, 'Four Live' and 'The Daily Show', begin on RTÉ One today, with viewers promised lots of chances to get involved and plenty of competitions.
Presented by Maura Derrane at 4pm, 'Four Live' is described as "a lifestyle show which will deliver tips, stories, information and advice on areas including health, food, value for money, style, beauty and many more".
Joining Derrane today will be chef Conrad Gallagher.
Claire Byrne and Dáithí Ó Sé are the presenters of 'The Daily Show' at 4:50pm, described as "a daily digest of news and entertainment stories hitting the headlines".
Joining Byrne and Ó Sé today will be model Gail Porter, Tyrone manager Mickey Harte and broadcasting legend Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh.
Speaking about the first show, Byrne said: "We are delighted to have Gail as our first guest of the season. I have always admired Gail as a presenter and I think she is a brilliant role model."
Her co-host Ó Sé added: "Gail seems like an amazing woman - I heard she was abseiling down a cliff this morning before she left for Dublin. She always exudes energy and I can’t wait to see what she has been up to."
