It is reported that 'Coronation Street' actress Michelle Keegan, who plays Tina McIntyre, is to become one of the linchpin stars of the ITV soap.

The Sunday Mirror says that fans of the show will soon see Tina with a new job, as a barmaid in the Rovers Return.
A source told the paper: "Show bosses see Michelle as the new Bet Lynch and think she’s got a huge future ahead of her.
"She is young, gorgeous, a great actress and hugely popular with viewers. They think she’ll be the sexiest barmaid in the history of the Rovers."
The paper says that Tina will flirt with former flames David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) and Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas), which will lead to difficulties with current boyfriend Graeme Proctor (Craig Gazey).
As part of the upcoming tram crash storyline in the show, the Sunday Mirror says that Tina will rescue customers who become trapped when the roof of the Rovers caves in.
