Justin Bieber has been speaking about his role as a criminal mastermind on US TV series 'CSI'.
The singer started having acting lessons earlier this year to prepare for the part of Jason McCann.
Talking about his role to Teen Vogue, Bieber said: "It seems like I'm this sweet and innocent kid, and then it turns out I'm the mastermind behind everything."
The first episode of 'CSI' in which he appears as Jason McCann airs in the US later this month.
Speaking about his preparation for the role, Bieber said: "The [acting] coach told me it was all about the emotion. She said, 'You have to feel the character. You have to be Jason'.
"But I think I would have done it the same whether I channelled my feelings or not."
Bieber's management also confirmed that he will star in a film that is being developed by Will Smith's production company, which will be: "A fictional piece that may have similarities to his life."
