'Sex and the City' star Cynthia Nixon has been cast opposite Woody Harrelson, Sigourney Weaver, Ice Cube, Anne Heche and Robin Wright in a new police thriller called 'Rampart'.
Variety reports that the film takes place against the backdrop of the scandal involving officers of the LAPD Rampart Division in the late 1990s.
Harrelson will play a veteran officer who is caught up in the scandal.
There are no details of Nixon's character.
