Lady Gaga was the big winner at the MTV Video Music Awards in the US last night, winning in eight categories.
The 24-year-old's 'Bad Romance' video won the awards for Video of the Year, Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Best Dance Video, Best Choreography, Best Direction and Best Editing.
Lady Gaga's song 'Telephone' with Beyoncé also won the award for Best Collaboration.
The Daily Mail says the eight awards ties with a-ha as the second most honoured act at an MTV Video Music Awards ceremony.
Peter Gabriel holds the record with nine awards in 1987.
Eminem won two awards: Best Male Video and Best Hip-Hop video for 'Not Afraid'.
Justin Bieber won the Best New Artist award for 'Baby' featuring Ludacris.
30 Seconds to Mars won the Best Rock Video award for 'Kings and Queens' and the Black Keys won the Breakthrough Video award for 'Tighten Up'.
In the technical categories there were awards for videos by Florence + the Machine, Jay-Z & Alicia Keys and Muse.
