Liam Neeson is to star opposite Rihanna in the upcoming adventure blockbuster 'Battleship'.
Variety reports that the film is based on the classic board game and also stars Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker and Hamish Linklater.
Neeson will play Admiral Shane in the movie, which tells of earth's fight for survival against "a superior force".
