Cheryl Cole has opened up about her recent divorce in a revealing new interview saying how she felt 'betrayed' by her ex-husband, Ashley.
Speaking to Vogue the 'X Factor' judge said their relationship is "a chapter of my life that's finished."
She said she felt betrayed by him and added "But I've got to take everything that's happened and learn from it." Cole also added "I've just got to be grateful that I've got so many good things going on. I have. and there's no children you know?
"Some people's lives fall apart. Of course, it's heartbreaking, but it's not anything remotely like it could have been and I'm very, very grateful for that."
Quizzed about having children in the future Cole said "That's definitely something I want to achieve," adding "it's the toughest job in the world - but I know it must be the most rewarding too."
The couple was granted a divorce by the High Court in London last week after four years of marriage. Cheryl returned back to the UK yesterday after an extended stay in America with her friend, dancer Derek Hough.
She will be back on TV screens shortly with the return of 'The X Factor' live shows.
