'Scrubs' star Ken Jenkins has joined the cast of 'Cougar Town', and will play the father of one of the characters.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Jenkins, who played Doctor Kelso in 'Scrubs', will play Jules Cobb's (Courteney Cox) father in 'Cougar Town'.
There are no details of storylines or the length of Jenkins' run on the show at present.
'Cougar Town' creator Bill Lawrence was also the man behind 'Scrubs'.
