There is speculation that the current 'Coronation Street' set could be turned into a tourist attraction for fans of the soap.
The Mirror reports that the ITV soap wants to move to a new location where it will be cheaper to film and claims bosses are considering turning the old set into a theme park-style attraction.
A source told the paper: "There is a lot there which people would like to visit. 'Coronation Street' bosses think it would be a hugely popular attraction and a fitting tribute to the old set."
A spokesman for the soap said: "We are currently discussing a number of options."
