Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez is reportedly very close to signing a deal for 'American Idol'.
According to TMZ, reports that the star is stalling on signing her contract to join the judging panel are not true.
A source said: "It's been typical negotiating."
The source also said that Lopez will probably be announced as the new judge on the show next week.
