There is mounting speculation about how 'EastEnders' favourite Peggy Mitchell (Barbara Windsor) will be written out of the BBC soap.

The Daily Mirror says that rumours are growing that Peggy will die while trying to escape a blaze in the Queen Vic.
A source said: "There was a very loud explosion followed by lots of screaming and coughing and then more voices shouting 'Peggy, Peggy'.
"No one knows yet if Peggy dies in the fire but a host of other characters are being written out so there is a good chance someone will be killed off when the Vic burns."
Fans can watch the episode on Thursday, 9 September.
