'Emmerdale' star Sophie Powles has said that she loves playing Holly in the show because she is the "opposite" of her character in real-life.
Speaking to RTÉ TEN, the actress said of playing the role: "I love it. I absolutely love it."
Referring to her character's drug addiction storyline, she said: "Holly was always been very free-spirited and headstrong and a bit naughty but this is a whole new level."
"Me, in real-life, I'm quite nice, I'm respectful, I've never been naughty... Well, obviously I've done the odd thing but never anything like this."
"So to play someone who is completely the opposite to me is a real treat. I feel really lucky."
Speaking about being part of the 'Emmerdale' cast, she said: "I'm absolutely loving it and, also, just to be part of 'Emmerdale' I just feel really lucky... It's the nicest bunch of people. We have a great time."
