Jennifer Aniston is to reunite with her 'Friends' co-star Courteney Cox in Cox's series 'Cougar Town'.
Warning: spoiler alert!
US network ABC announced that Aniston will guest star in the first episode of the second series, which airs in the US on 22 September.
The show's executive producer Bill Lawrence told Entertainment Weekly: "She's going to play Courteney's shrink named Bonnie. Kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist.
"Those guys are so close in real-life they kind of do that for each other anyway."
Lawrence said the role of Bonnie was one that both stars were "involved in creatively", and he added that Aniston could make more appearances in 'Cougar Town'.
"We're very intentionally implying that it's a therapist Courteney has been using for a while and we're certainly not going to make it like they'll never see each other again," he said. "So I'm crossing my fingers that if she has a good time it'll happen again."
Aniston previously guest-starred in Cox's show 'Dirt' in 2007.
