'X Factor' judge Cheryl Cole has said that she is "really excited" about seeing the acts that have been chosen so far.
In a video message for fans, Cole said: "I'm absolutely gutted that I missed the last auditions and boot camp."
"But I'm really excited to see what Simon, Louis and Nicole have chosen."
"I can't wait to get my category so I can get my teeth into it."
'The X Factor' returns to television screens on Saturday 21 August.
