Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has said that she is "proud" of Cheryl Cole.
The singer acted as a judge on 'Popstars: The Rivals', the show where Cole was discovered.
According to The Sun, Halliwell said: "I'm really proud of Cheryl and thrilled with her success."
Halliwell recently acted as a guest judge on 'The X Factor', filling in for Dannii Minogue, who was on maternity leave at the time.
