There is speculation that singer Shania Twain could be joining 'American Idol' as a judge full-time.
A source "close to the singer" told People magazine: "They've been after her ever since she was a mentor on the show last season. And they haven't given up."
Twain also guest-starred on the show for its Chicago auditions, with the source saying that "everyone thought she was a great addition to the judges' table".
Twain's spokesperson had no comment.
