'Brothers & Sisters' star Eric Winter is joining 'The Mentalist' as the new love interest of one of the characters.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Winter will play Craig O'Laughlin, a former American football player-turned-FBI agent.
O'Laughlin soon begins a flirtation with Agent Grace Van Pelt (Amanda Righetti).
