Housemate Mario has saved himself from eviction again in the Big Brother after winning a memory task. He chose newest housemate Sam Pepper to replace him in facing the public vote alongside JJ, Dave and Jo.
Mario, JJ and Jo were called to the diary room individually to listen to animal noises in a sequence. They then had to repeat the animal noises back to Big Brother.
Mario won after remembering 22 with Jo recalling 11 and JJ six. Dave was banned from taking part in the task after discussing nominations.
This week the housemates were forced to nominate not in the diary room but in person by throwing a bucket of gunge over the person they had chosen.
Mario had four buckets of gunge thrown over him. Josie and John James were the only housemates to come away from the task unscathed.
