'EastEnders' star Perry Fenwick has filmed his 1,000th episode of the soap.
The Mirror reports that the actor, who plays Billy Mitchell, filmed the milestone episode on Friday.
It will be screened in the autumn.
Fenwick said: "Seeing as I was originally signed up for four episodes, 996 episodes later, I still haven't been found out. I'm absolutely delighted and can't wait to tell my mum."
The show's executive producer, Bryan Kirkwood, said: "Billy is the most loveable loser on British TV and despite a thousand episodes of bad luck, the audience are still willing him to succeed."
