Former 'Britain's Next Top Model' contestant Susan Loughnane has admitted she felt victimised after being booted of the show last week.

The Herald reports that Loughnane, the only Irish girl ever on the show, was shocked after suddenly being told to leave the hit show when she failed to impress at a model casting in a surprise elimination.

"It was really cruel. I felt very victimised actually. To be honest, I was ready to leave because they'd all been mean to me all day," she told the paper.

"They just crushed me. I was literally fighting back the tears. I didn't cry though, as I didn't want to give them the satisfaction of seeing me break down."

Viewers watched as judges Grace Woodward and Charley Speed called to the contestants' house, in the middle of the programme, and informed them that one of them would be leaving immediately.
The decision came after the aspiring models were sent for castings by Models One bookers Julien and Fraser Belk.

During the task, Susan was told she was "corpse like" in the way that she moved and she was asked to walk for a second time for the experts.

Once she left the room, Fraser told the camera how she "didn't make any justice to the outfit" while Julian said he wouldn't see her as being a model for their agency.

When they arrived back to their house, judge Grace said that one of the girls had performed so badly at the castings that they were to be eliminated immediately. She then called out Susan's name, much to the surprise of her fellow contestants, but Susan said that she knew it was coming.

"I could sense that someone was going to leave, it was obvious from the way everyone was acting on set. Things had gone badly earlier, so I knew it would be me who was going. I'm still really annoyed about it all," she continued.

However the Hearld claims Susan's career has taken off since the show, as well as landing a part on TV drama ‘Single-handed’, she has also reportedly been inundated with high-profile modelling jobs and has now moved over to live in Britain full time.
