Singer Lily Allen and her boyfriend, Sam Cooper, are expecting their first child.
The 25-year-old pop star has confirmed to The Sun that a recent scan revealed she was three months' pregnant.
She told the newspaper "It brings me great pleasure to tell you that Sam and I are expecting our first child. It goes without saying that we are both absolutely delighted."
Allen has been dating her builder boyfriend since last summer.
The singer has hinted many times that she is retiring from pop music and has been working recently on setting up a vintage clothing line with her elder sister, Sarah Owen.
In January 2008 Allen suffered a miscarriage after becoming pregnant by Ed Simons from the Chemical Brothers.
