It has been announced that actress Emily Bergl is joining the cast of 'Desperate Housewives'.
TVGuide.com reports that she will play Beth, Paul Young's (Mark Moses) new wife.
Speaking to TVGuide.com's William Keck, actor Moses said of his new co-star: "I thought she was just great in the scene we read together. We're both from the Midwest, and she brings so many great qualities to the role - vulnerability, insecurity and a certain strength.
"There are a lot of conflicting traits to this character, who finds herself in a very dysfunctional relationship."
